image thumb46 Why a Tea Party?
Liberal relatives and commenter’s sound like Spock, “These Tea Parties seem illogical. Taxes are necessary. The United States is  a low tax country. Why complain. It does not compute”.

It’s the aggregate silly. Also the targeting. I’ve posted on how 50%+ will soon not pay taxes at all.   And how the Obama administration in it’s first two months cost each citizen $81,000 dollars.  Taxes, unfair targeting, and unbelievable debt.  Add in not reading the stimulus bill before signing it and a lot of people are pissed at ALL politicians in Washington.

I already explained how most moderately successful families are working for less than 0 now.  You will recall that post showed most families are seeing 70+% of the 2nd earners wages go to taxes of one form or another with a remaining 30% going to debt and money devaluation. Grand total 106%.

Yesterday, I posted about cell phone taxes, so if that 2nd income is used to buy family communication then add 20% to the number above for a whopping 126%.   Even higher would be if you bought cigarettes with that 2nd income, or went on a trip and stayed in a hotel.

America is NOT a low tax country. If other countries are somehow higher than 106%  or 126% then calling us “low tax” is like saying we are the least fat camper at a fat farm.

I’m mad. I’ll go to a Tea Party. It’s less effective but safer than what I’d really rather do.
