Both had trouble quitting smoking, details at 11

The fool who shot and killed three Pittsburgh policeman yesterday is described as:

Friends said 23 year-old Richard Poplawski feared the Obama administration was poised to ban guns.

They were called there on a domestic disturbance call. Not on a “ A wacko believes what millions of others believe” call.

From another profile, I learn he was very odd, including burning himself with cigarettes in odd style of attempting quitting. But he wasn’t described as a “smoker too hooked on cigarettes to quit, just like President Obama’.

Clearly the media wants to link his interest in guns rights to  his murder spree, thus placing guilt by association on those who share similar beliefs. But there is no reason to believe that.  If he assaulted the White House, or a Federal building, his thinking on guns rights might be involved in deciding a target,  but he was at home “domestically disturbing”.

I believe President Obama would ban all guns if he thought he would get away with it. He has said so.   I believe he will try to ban certain semi-automatic guns and also make ammunition much more expensive if we are unlucky enough to have him for a 2nd term.

There are millions of American’s who feel similarly about Obama’s gun plans.

We aren’t “spreeing”.

This guy was a complete idiot. And I, for one, would like to be able to keep my self defended so if he decides to go nuts when I’m around I can do something about it.

I, too, fear an Obama gun grab. But clearly the cops were there for some routine call, and it went sideways. The common denominator in most of these shootings is no one on scene with a gun, and the cops always show up after the damage is done.
