I’m just back from lunch with my son at Troy’s Barbecue. We give it two enthusiastic thumbs up.

I got the yanked pork sandwich with dirty rice as my side. Both were terrific. The sandwich among the best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had.
Brian got the yanked pork and brisket platter. He reports it was tender, juicy and very tasty.
We both preferred the Sweet & Tangy BBQ sauce of the 5 on the table.
If you like BBQ we recommend Troy’s very much. I’m sure we will be back many times.

KD’s looks good. I’ll be in Wichita Falls next month, hope to get some good bbq while there.

My experience in Wichita Falls is that any food place is way below average. It’s not very Texan and not cattle country either. I’ve known two people from there, both were real losers. Good luck finding BBQ otherwise go to the Texas Roadhouse.
