A tax on kitty litter? Outrageous!
Perusing the Belmont Club today I saw a post that reminded me of yesterday’s big news about the governor of New York’s plan to raise taxes to cover revenue shortfalls.
Movie tickets, taxi rides, soda, beer, wine, cigars and massages would be taxed under Paterson’s proposal. It also extends sales taxes to cable and satellite TV services and removes the tax exemption for clothes costing less than $110.
Gosh… do you think people will go to less movies, share taxies, buy beer and soda in CT or NJ, order cigars online, and skip a massage or two?
GM and NY… birds of a feather locked into crazy labor costs by political clout.

More stimulus please. The last one worked nicely. Maybe 50% corporate tax as a payment option. Do it as a check off box. Would you prefer to give to ……make a contribution to the nonprofit BCS charity of your choice. free hookem horns tshirt as a bonus,,,
