It is a bribe when they pay with their own money… bribing with other people’s money sucks much worse.

So either the bill is good for all of us and they vote for it out of the common good – or they need to be bribed to do it – thus meaning it isn’t for the common good and is unconstitutional. I wonder if anybody has tried that legal tactic yet.
