Wow,

I'm a BIGOT?

I find it interesting reading this post and what most people that were against proposition 8 wrote with such hate and slanderish comments. Stating how they hate Mormons and how they would like to kill us. Then in the same sentance they would state how they hate BIGOTS.

Again, I have to say WOW!

I guess you have to look up that word in the dictionary to find out that you are every bit a BIGOT as me. Yes, I did say the B word, your are a BIGOT. I just have to say it, there is no getting around it.

I find the Dialog in America very disturbing. That if you have a point of view that is based on your personal belief system and people don't agree with you that they turn to demonizing comments, that if your beliefs are based secular beliefs that somehow those are more accepted as moral beliefs, but when someone has religious beliefs that it is somehow immoral to act on them. Everything we do in our society is based on our personal morals and the acceptance of those morals. It would be Hypocritical to not act on your beliefs (by making your voice heard). Everyone should be allowed to voice there options even if they are not your own, without fear. This is right allowed to both the Homosexual part of our society as well as the religious. Sorry if somehow you do not think we have right to stand up for what we believe in, wheather they or right or wrong in your option.

When we turn to irrational language it takes out any rational conversations that could really help solve issues such as this issue. I believe there is some middle ground that could be reached that both sides on this subject might not love but would protect each sets of values.

I know that most of you will not be open minded enough to see that negative comments will only influence the people who already agree with you and close the minds of those who do not. Sorry, but that is the truth and sometimes the truth is hard to listen to. No matter whoever is right or wronge.
