“Hey Jude”, by the Beatles, isn’t my favorite song by any means, but I do think it is an excellent song.  This graphical flow chart of the song shows great doesn’t have to be complex:

Over the last few years I’ve learned guitar. As I’ve studied songs that I’m learning on guitar I’ve found that most songs are really quite simple in structure.

I saw a Greatest Albums on Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon. Not a big fan, but I revisited that. Check out the solo on Time. Also, off “The Wall”, the last solo at the end of Comfortably Numb. That’s how a guitar solo should sound. Both simple, but a perfect blend of lead guitar with the rest of the song.

Just heard Time yesterday, I’ve dug the solo for years. Gilmour can play fast, but he prefers to play what sounds “right”. A much better approach.

    Bongo, bongo, bongo
I don’t want to leave the Congo
    Oh no, no, no, no
    Bingle, bangle, bungle
I don’t want to leave the jungle
    but I’ve got to go.

    Racist?

It is one of my very favorite songs and is on a jukebox in Gunniston. I stop in for take out and drop in the quarter, place order and the last na na na as I take my hot food out.
It is also (next to Stairway to Heaven) longest recorded song.

This will probably get responses. Probably one longer.

    #3 Dr. Livingston I presume?
#4 I gave up on juke boxes. They never play want I specified.
