Wasn’t Scott Brown supposed to bust chops and get to the US Senate as quickly as possible?  Instead, he hobnobs with Reid and Obama and lets them sweet talk him into waiting. Meanwhile the dude he is to replace illegally votes.

A Brown spokesperson says this:

“If there is anything of concern, he may seek to expedite his seating,”

Uhm… dude… they just expanded the debt ceiling by 2 trillion dollars. That seems “concerning” doesn’t it?  And that vote was 60/40 – we sure could have used FORTY-ONE there you doofus.

As I suspected, Scott Brown is JUST ANOTHER POLITICIAN. Prepare to be lied to, and for deals to be made with Democrats that will make Brown look like a “compromiser” at our expense.

Oh… and he won’t rule out a run for President in 2012.  No thanks Scottie. We’ve have a few days after the party to see what you are made of, and it isn’t the “right stuff”.

He’s more like Obama than most would like to admit or allow themselves to see.

I’ve been un-thrilled about Brown since I first heard about him. Just another careerist lawyer.

How soon infatuation cools! You didn’t really expect a complete Washington novice Senator to ride in a white horse and change Washington which is quite used to knights on white horses riding into town with an inauguration parade. He didn’t come from South Carolina; he came from Massachusetts which is still a liberal state on your scale of attitudes. He has 1% of the Senate power, which may be enough to block a few things if 39 others agree, but no power to make anything happen yet. Making anything happen requires 218 representatives, sixty Senators, and one president. All riding their own horses.

If you’ve been reading, I’ve never been infatuated with him.

The only thing about a white horse that Senators remind me of is what they leave after a parade.

There is one reason I was happy to hear Scott Brown got elected: pure, unenlightened partisan sabotage. The Rebublicans these days are playing the not-Democrat and stopping the “evil” health care bill they would have voted for if Bush has pushed it. This bill is wrong on nearly every moral and legal level I can consider and if what stops it is stupidity in the ranks, then so be it. Our goose won’t be cooked as long as we keep the chefs arguing about garnishes.
