A career spending other people’s money makes you odd
Scott Brown reminds me of John Kerry. And that isn’t a pleasant comparison. Will he be better than Ted Kennedy, or any random Democrat chosen from the scum that is MA Democrats? Sure. But I easily envision him as “Senator for Life”.
I’d vote for him, because the national stakes are so high. But I’d regret it in 6 years, I’m sure.
My view was just reinforced by an interview I saw him do with Sean Hannity a few minutes ago. He avoided questions, droned on with his talking points, bragged about 6000 votes as a politician, rank dropped his reserve service. Check the box interview. Just like any other career politician.
Brown may be the best a failing state like Massachusetts can eke out of its corrupt political system. But that says more about how low the Bay State has fallen since the likes of Paul Revere and John Adams traipsed Boston streets.
Careers in politics make people strange and ultimately unworthy of holding office.
