Government Motors, eager to gain the confidence of car buyers again, is really rolling out the red carpet.
For an ENTIRE 60 days they will have a “Satisfaction Guarantee” promotion that offers a money back guarantee after up to 4,000 miles and 60 days.
Gosh GM…. my Chevy truck’s speedometer just broke, and its transmission has a known defect that isn’t recallable (because it can’t be fixed). These things happened after 40,000 miles.
So my confidence is lost, permanently. And I’ll spread the word.
But it is big of you to provide money back guarantees during the period 99.9% of cars from any manufacturer work. And how confident of you to do it for 60 whole days.
It’s as if the government is running GM or something.
GM, let me give you a hint, if you want us to believe you, make the guarantee for life and make the program a permanent part of your marketing. Your credibility is shot and only extreme measures will recover it.

Sorry about your truck. Even if new yesterday it’s not covered by the SG deal.

The truck continues to give good service. But the little flaws do add up to a dissatisfied customer.
