I buy “organic” food because it tastes better and I can, but I feel guilty about reinforcing all the kinds of delusion and superstition and viciousness that are tied up in that label. We simply cannot feed a world population of 6.6 billion without pesticides and factory farming and GMOs and preservatives in most bread; now, and probably forever, “organic” food will remain a luxury good.

He’s convinced himslef it tastes better. Penn and Teller did a blind taste taste of organic vs mass farmed produce and each person picked the non-organic as better tasting. I suppose if you pay more for something equalto or not as good as, you’ll convince yourself its better so as to not feel dumb.

I generally haven’t liked organic stuff.

Liberals don’t care about helping the downtrodden, they care about making you feel guilty for not buying into their religion.
If they cared, they would want mass produced goods and food that are as safe as reasonably possible, that are affordable for the poor. They arent interested in that.
It probably works on people who can afford to pay off their guilt, but thinking people, wealthy or otherwise, refuse to fall for it.
