How are the prices? I want to get one for my sister, but she fears the ease of spending vast sums of money since she can read a paperback in 2 hours flat.

Kindle books are at least 1/2 the normal price. So a brand new hardback would be $9 or $10. Sometimes less. Paperpacks are 2-5 dollars. Plus, you don’t have to travel to the store, and you can order another book and get it instantly when stores are closed.
