image thumb6 Pic of the Day

Brian examines a gold medal he won in a local gymnastics meet.
He never did gymnastics again.  Circa 2004.

Technique: When the background is cluttered with junk like people and parking lots, a silhouette shot can convey the purpose of the picture without the burden of the crap in the background.   You need a camera that permits manual adjustment or Ev compensation. Set the shutter speed 2-3 times higher than the one that delivers a normal histogram.
