Oops: National Debt Clock Out of Digits

Courtesy Gizmodo (an awesome electronics gadget site), I learned that The National Debt clock in New York’s Times Square has run out of digits. It can’t show the 10 trillion the government acknowledges as debt.

Of course, that number didn’t include unfunded liabilities like Medicaid and Medicare. So it really ran out of digits long ago.  No word on if they plan to switch to an LED capable of scientific notation.

This news did nothing to stop the Presidential candidates from promising the moon in last night’s debate.

    I noticed when asked Obama said health care is a right. Not sure he meant a natural right or constitutional right or if it just sounds good to say it. The usual socialist blather.
