1/5 young adults apparently should dress like this
In this election I always felt the youth support for Obama was odd. Clearly he is a shyster, a fake, and if America’s youth has been exposed to one thing consistently it is political fakes. Yet they fell for him.
It is all a bit clearer to me now…. 1/5 of young adults have personality disorders:
Almost one in five young American adults has a personality disorder that interferes with everyday life, and even more abuse alcohol or drugs, researchers reported Monday in the most extensive study of its kind.
This is not to make light of real psychological disorders. But if Obama’s core support is basically mental… well, it doesn’t bode well for the rest of us.
Now as to this study….
Personality disorders were the second most common problem behind drug or alcohol abuse as a single category. The disorders include obsessive, anti-social and paranoid behaviors that are not mere quirks but actually interfere with ordinary functioning.
It seems VERY likely to me that this overstates the problem. But maybe not. This could be the result of the absolute WORST parental generation ever – my generation – the baby boomers. What a bunch of greedy, narcissistic losers. Hey… they went for Obama too!
The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree apparently.
BTW: I employ a number of people in the afflicted age group. Should I be concerned?

Only about yourself! One in four adults have them. Geezers are back to 1 in 5 and that’s because of memory loss mostly. Perhaps they forget they have a problem!
