Updated: Confederate Yankee finds even more evidence in the 10 year old Google cache. Come on press, do your job.

I urge you to use consumers choice to “hurt the press” each day. Don’t watch a biased news program. Don’t buy a newspaper. Use Craig’s List. Use an ad blocker if you hit their sites. Do something every day to hurt them.

Why?  How about because they hire morons?

Like the Physics major who wrote the above for CNN.

But generally, punish them because that is what you do to failure.  If you read this blog for a while, you will see that I believe in rewarding what I like and punishing what I don’t.

So I want to punish,  for instance,  because they don’t ask hard questions about Obama strongly endorsed by, and possibly a member of, the “New Party” (a socialist 3rd party in Chicago)?  That seems like a big deal to me. Wouldn’t they would go ape crazy over a McCain or Palin tie to the John Birch society?

I want the press to do their jobs. To me that means don’t pick sides, question all sides, and don’t be shills.   If they won’t do their job then I’ll work to make sure they don’t have a job to go to.  It is easy to do.  I don’t subscribe to a newspaper. I watch Fox News (not often). And I get my news off web blogs I trust.

It isn’t just politics. The only section of the newspaper that has any curiosity or intelligence to it is the Sports section. And for that… The Sporting News is all you need.

I delight each time I see a fish wrap like the LA Times have big layoffs.

So do your part Patriotic American – hurt the press and make them change.
