When I heard that Miss Vermont 2008 was going to wear a green dress I was reminded of a classic line from the sit-come Cheers. The Miss America pageant is on in the background TV of the bar. Somebody says “Hey Woody, Miss Indiana”. Woody replies “No, Boston is my home now”.
As to me…. I don’t miss Vermont a lick. Their government is insane, so are a lot of the people, and the excellent 2 month summer didn’t make a dent in the endless dark winter.
As to Miss Vermont…. she is pretty….
but I like Miss Utah and her “green” outfit better:
