Dr. Mark Perry’s data says that 82% of November’s job losses were held by men (1.93 million), 18% ladies (430,000):
Stated differently, for every female job lost, there were 4.5 males jobs lost over the last year.
Compared to past recessions, the one after 9/11 split 57% (men) /43% and the one in the early Clinton Administration was 70 (men) / 30.
Women are 46% of the work force. Put another way, men account for roughly 54% of the work force and 82% of the layoffs.
If the stats flipped the other way, somebody would be squawking…
