Judd Gregg – take a seat
Quick… name a Commerce Secretary…. The only one I can name is Malcolm Baldridge and that is because he died in office in a rodeo accident.
So now Republican Senator Judd Gregg is flirting with being the Commerce Secretary for Obama. I think he is being asked because he may be the only politician in Washington that actually pays all his taxes.
His “condition” before accepting is that a Republican replace him in the Senate.
You mean like David Souter – a “Republican” of convenience who was really a socialist when freed from New Hampshire’s conservative politics of the time?
The Democrats must, somewhere deep inside, want a worthy opponent. Beating Republicans is like playing basketball against midgets.
