A new Rasmussen poll says that 42% of people believe that randomly pulled names from the phone book would do a better job than the current Congress. Naturally, Democrats remain stupidly faithful:
Today, Republicans by a two-to-one margin believe that the phone book sample would be better than the current Democratic-controlled Congress. Democrats, by a similar margin, have the opposite view. A slight plurality of those not affiliated with either major party say the randomly selected group would do a better job.
I suppose that is because their Congressman are doing a bang up job plundering other people to pay them off.

Think how much better we’d be if the one we picked only thought Elvis was still alive versus the ones we have who have letters dated yesterday from him!
