Read this:
Phil Austin, former president of the Mesa Association of Hispanic Citizens, and four other people were on the scene as neutral observers in case of any conflicts among protesters. Austin said he and the others had been asked by Mesa police to monitor crowd conduct.
It is from this report on a tax protest held today in Mesa, Arizona.
Do you think someone from the Mesa Association of Hispanic Citizens is a “neutral” observer?
Why would the reporter even put that in? The guy can’t be “neutral”, he is part of a political action group.
And what were the police thinking when they involved him? That is the question the reporter should have asked next.
Must dunces only work in the press?

I doubt the PD asked them to monitor the corwd. That’s what the police do. The question shouldd’t be why did the police involve you, but did they involve you at all? Most likely they didn’t.
