We can’t even reliably predict “incoming solar energy”
Sophisticated computer models built to precisely guide the world’s financial systems didn’t see the crisis coming:
How could it all have gone so wrong? After all, bankers have invested a lot of time and money in mastering financial risk, and built elaborate mathematical models that should have highlighted the potential for disaster. But as conditions worsened, those models proved hopelessly inadequate.
Seeing as how we know a LOT more about finance than we do about climate, and that the number of financial variables is much smaller than the climate unknowns, it seems a dubious bet at best to make any kind of policy or economic decisions based on 100+ year climate models.
Of course climate models best uses are not to predict climate, but to spread fear in support of centralized government schemes.

My bank has made one error, $.70 in my favor, since 1964 yet they were forced to play a corrupt government gain that lost me lots of interest over that period.
Now another corrupt Al Gore scheme is poised to do it again. There’s nothing science can do about global warming except watch. For example, volcanoes add carbon dioxide AND cool the atmosphere. What’s the total since 1960? There were 50 big eruptions per year in the 1940s and 1950s, between 50 and 60 in the 1960s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, and 65 in the 2000s so far. Volcanic activity is driven by convection that lets magma burst through weak spots in the crust. So the earth’s surface heats up locally affecting large areas where water and air temperatures rise. How convenient! In truth the sun’s effect may be small compared to the core effects. In 4-5 billion years the earth will be dead, then burnt by an expanding sun. Will the number of eruptions go to the 70s in the 2010s and 80 in the 2020s? Will the carbon dioxide and other gases and vapors be in Al’s models or only the financials?
