Google apparently opposes California’s Proposition 8 (banning gay marriage) and goes on the record.
“It is the chilling and discriminatory effect of the proposition on many of our employees that brings Google to publicly oppose Proposition 8,”
No word on if there is a “chilling” effect on Google employees who don’t hold the same view. Should they just shut up? Would disagreement, or not giving the right gift at a colleagues same-sex marriage, affect their job?
When should we start worrying that Google’s political views affect their search results?
