Right now my kids are watching the Veterans Day parade here in St. George. I’m at work but feel I should be there with them. In past years I have been.
This years my company has donated a few times to Valour IT. We also kept a job open for a reservist who spent much of the year in “the sandbox”. I’d suggest you and your company consider doing similar as well.
Everyday is Veteran’s Day at my house. Anytime my kids see a veteran (usually by a hat or jacket) they go thank them. Sometimes they chat about where they served. Sometimes not, but they are always very pleased to have the recognition.
