Most camo tries to make it so a human can’t see you. Not a bad idea for soldiers, but not so smart when hunting.  Wouldn’t smart camouflage for hunters make a human seem like nothing?   And wouldn’t a smart way to test that be to learn how deer see and look at the camo through “Deer Goggles”?  That’s what the folks at Sitka Gear and Gore did.  Below is a screen cap from the video for “Optifade”  – the Sitka/Gore camo clothing line (the interesting video is the 3rd one).  It shows the host and a hidden hunter viewed as a deer would see it – 20/40 vision and with just two color recievers (yellow and blue).

I’d be more interested in making sure other hunters saw me. Lots of dummies out there.

Good point. It is designed for bow hunters. They also studied what the deer could/couldn’t see at bow hunting distances.
