Politicians, pissed they can’t raise taxes fast enough, want to re-write the state Constitution so they can get rid of Proposition 13 and also the super majority needed to pass spending and tax bills.
"We haven’t had a cost-of-living adjustment in a decade," Gordon said. "And because of the state budget crisis, we have job training centers where people have to wait in line. Patients who need to see us in our medical clinics may wait six-to-eight weeks."
In other words, I want to spend more money but I can’t! Bawwaawaaa.
California has raised its taxes to its citizen’s breaking point. It is nearing that point with regulatory costs as well.
