Starbucks bugs me. Occasionally I buy my wife a hot cocoa there and it costs almost $5 bucks!

McDonalds shares my angst:

and wants to help me with hot chocolate for a buck. Thank you McDonalds.

As to Starbucks… they say they want to take the “high road” in the ad war, which actually means… they got nothing.

Starbucks has got to be running scared. Like gambling, resort golf, and fancy eateries, $5 dollar hot chocolates are definitely an option I can go without in these troubled economic times.

I like hunting but I wish more deer would fight back…

The buck rose up, knocked Goodman down and attacked him with his antlers in what the veteran hunter called "15 seconds of hell."

I don’t want anybody hurt and this unfortunate hunter did have to go to the E.R.  But if more deer fought back, fewer people would hunt them and MAYBE I WOULD DRAW OUT one year.  I’m 0 for 5 on the deer draw and 0 /4 on the elk draw here in Utah. 

And no… I don’t need any anti-hunting screeds from PETA members about how they wish hunters were being killed by crazed deer. I’m just looking for a _little_ risk, enough to get me in the draw so I can replenish the freezer.

Tis the season and I’m busy busy busy getting ready to be Santa Ken at the office party again.

I’m doing a LOT of shopping here. So get ready people!

We may have won this war, but hard work continues. And Obama could still lose it.

“The One” scrapped the National Anthem at an event of his in New Hampshire to make room for somebody else to praise him.

Now Zach Bencal will sing for McCain, who to the best of my knowledge has never scrapped the National Anthem and certainly knows the words.

He’s pretty good.
