Obama, hungry for your money, put dozens of tax hikes into his budget. Details at Tax Prof, and here is a Wall Street Journal article on the proposals:
The centerpiece of the tax proposals — a limit on charitable deductions for taxpayers in the top two income brackets — was rolled out earlier this year and remains in the proposal.
Hmmm… I was promised no tax raises unless I earned more than $250,000.
But… it only takes $171K (single) or $208K (married) to make it to the next to the top 33% tax bracket. That’s a bit smaller than $250K.
Liar.
