Give it a rest George. You’ve done enough damage
Not all Presidents give farewell speeches. Eisenhower did, warning about the military industrial complex. Carter did, previewing what a lousy ex-President he would become.
Now W is considering giving one:
"Thinking about it. Thinking about it. A lot of presidents have, and I’m giving it serious thought," Bush said in an interview with C-SPAN television when asked if he was planning a farewell speech before he leaves the White House on January 20.
I’d suggest he just shut up. He’s done enough damage with his major failing, inept communication. So why try and start now?
And to think… I voted for him twice, and probably would again given the choices presented.
