Good Johnny. 50 points to you.
In Naples, Florida schools have set up a new measurement system where 50 equals 0:
“Zeros are really punitive,” she said. “If you receive a zero, you have to go a long way to get a D. Getting a zero has a profound effect on a student’s self-esteem.”
Thompson pointed out that the Collier County grading scale is 100 to 90 for an A; 80 to 89 for a B; 70 to 79 for a C; 60 to 69 for a D; and an F is 59 or below.
No folks… this is not from The Onion. This is REAL news from the education bureaucracy you pay for.
Supporters say that giving a zero makes it too hard for the kids to make up for a failure. Well… how about… not failing?
Oddly…. where is that school located?
I made that up

50 or 60 = 0? If 60 = 0 then e exp (60) = 2.71 versus the other e exp (60) = 3100Y (Yattas). Note: Yatta, yatta, yatta is a HUGE number; 10 exp (72).
At one test a week during the school year it’s easy to score well on the average even with two zeros. 25 weeks with 23 70s plus two 0s is a 64.4 average. A “C”!

I’m glad I have non-zeros for commenters!
