Government is bigger than manufacturing.
Economicpicdata asks:
“shouldn’t we expect the same productivity gains and slower growth (than the broader economy) from the government sector as the manufacturing sector?”
We could expect it until hell freezes over, but only the people that have their lives on the line improve in government.
