Detroit is having a bad run of things. The Lions go 0 for everything. The Big 3 refers to failure not “american dream”. And now their schools apparently can’t afford t-paper or light bulbs:
The principal of the Academy of Americas sent a letter to staff, parents and partners asking for donations of items "that are of the utmost importance for proper school functioning and most importantly for student health and safety."
Well, knowing Detroit, the school system must be very well run and not have a single penny misspent.
They could not hire a 100K a year assistant principal they are advertising for. That would buy 8900 12 packs of top quality TP.
Detroit spends over $11,000 per year per student. But only 25% graduate high school and their test scores are at the bottom of the nation. It is a sure sign of incompetence, fraud and waste that they have TP issues at any school.

They’re really going to be mad when neither Chicago nor Cleveland can get them the white cobs they’re missing!
