I go to shorpy.com periodically to see what is new. Just hitting random pages on the vast site turns up cool stuff. Here is a photo of an unemployed lumber work and his wife. His social security number is tattooed on his arm:
See the post here. The number on his arm identified him as Thomas Cave. Born in 1912, age 27 when this was taken and he died in 1980. Like so many of that era he served in WWII. His wife, Ann, lived til 2000.
