I’d wish worse, but that would be unseemly. I must remain seemly above all things.
A nasty fall will suffice. Wish with me.
Senators:
Susan Collins, R-Maine
Arlen Specter, R-Penn
Sen Judd Gregg, R-NH
Ben Nelson, R-Neb,
Is it wrong for me to wish them ill will? They are harming me with their stupidity and single minded focus on their own petty careers over the health of an entire nation. So yea, I hope something bad happens to them. Fall. All the way down the stairs. Onto Marble. Hit hard.
I know I know…. politics shouldn’t be personal. But how can it not be in this case? It isn’t like I’m peeing my pants over some jihadist sweating in a Guantanamo cell. This is ME. It is personal!  You see, unlike most people in this country, I actually pay the bills for all this crap they vote for.
These buttholes just agreed to an asinine waste of trillions that will cost me somewhere between $30K and $237K.  Your damn right it’s personal. In one 5 minute fevered “negotiation” in a Senate wardroom they ate up years of my life. I can at least wish them a trip to the ER.
And that doesn’t even measure the cost in terms of the permanent Democratic majority those trillions are going to buy.  If I think too hard about that, I will get unseemly.
Update: I was surprised to see Ben Nelson listed as a Republican, because I thought he was a Democrat. A commenter points out he is a Democrat. The mistake is mine. The source I was reading listed him as a Republican and I went with it. I should have checked. So he is a) Democrat, and I still hope he takes a stumble (-:
