I had to run up and do some end of year odds and ends at the office tonight. Prior, my son and I dropped by Alvaros, which is a casual 24 hour Mexican place an easy walk from my office.
I ordered the #22 Chili Verde:
It comes with cheese on the refried beans and rice. I held the rice, and got double re-fried beans sans cheese. A large tortilla comes with it as well, but I saved that for my daughter.
About a 1/3rd of the way through I fretted about what is in the chili verde sauce that made it “sauce”… fearing flour, I checked online and found it made of chili, jalapeno and ground tomatillos. Whew.
Tasty. All eaten.
