One, maybe two, feet higher and Carl Edward’s car would have plowed through hundreds of fans at Talladega yesterday. Watch the video. Scary stuff. Driver not hurt, 7 fans injured, non-seriously. They dodged a bullet.
When I watch NASCAR I do so from up high, they are better seats anyway because you can see the whole track. Same with hockey, unless I’m sure of seats by the glass. Have somebody next to you get a puck embedded in their head and your seat buying habits will change too.

Restrictor plate racing sucks. They all go in huge packs, push each other, then have crazy crashes like this or one that takes out 15 cars. I think here and Daytona they ought to narrow the track, or find some way to make the track force the drivers to slow down.
